Tour Details
Step 1: Learn the basic theory behind scuba diving in the comfort of a classroom environment.
Step 2: Head down to the Blairgowrie Marina for a shallow-water skills session, get familiar with the scuba equipment and learn the essential skills needed for a safe and enjoyable dive.
Step 3: It’s time to meet the marine life! Spot a nudibranch, seahorse, or octopus — and if you're lucky, glide alongside a smooth ray!
Step 4: If you loved this experience, ask us about our 3 day PADI Open Water Dive Course. Successful completion of this course comes with a diving certification. 
The option to book in a double dive experience is also available!

- for those driving it takes 2+ hours from Melbourne CBD to get to Portsea
- for those catching transport it takes 4+ hours from Melbourne CBD to get to Portsea. Catch the Frankston line to Frankston and the 788 bus to Portsea, this bus stops right out the front of our shop. 

Inclusions

• All scuba equipment: tanks and air fills, regulators, BCD, mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, hood, weights, and SMB

• Scuba dive theory and skills session 

• An ocean dive at a safe and protected location, Blairgowrie Marina.

• Bring a towel, bathers, and something warm and dry to wear afterwards. 

• We recommend bringing a drink, snacks, or lunch. Diving makes you huuuungry! 

• Participants must be 13 years or older.

• Minimum 3 participants per tour.

• A medical form must be filled out prior to your tour experience, this can be sent prior to booking. Please call or email if you wish to receive this prior to booking.

• Please do not dive is pregnant or planning to fall pregnant. 

We recommend doing some research on what is required to successfully scuba dive before booking, Especially if you cannot swim and have not snorkeled before. 

Scuba diving does not require you to have strong swimming abilities, however you will be required to fully submerge yourself under the water and move with the rest of the group. How far you go in this experience is up to and your confidence in the water. 

Please know the dive instructors have a timeline to follow to ensure all divers get the most out of the experience. There are skills and requirements that will need to be completed throughout your dive, your dive instructor will ensure you and all other divers have complete them successfully before moving on to then next section of the dive experience.

Medical

• If you know you have a medical condition that may affect your scuba dive, please request our medical form before booking.

• Once booked, you will receive the medical form in your confirmation email. This must be completed before arrival, as you may require approval from a doctor to participate.

• Please arrive 5–10 minutes prior to the start time.

• If you experience difficulty on the day, we can arrange a separate one-on-one dive with your instructor (additional fees apply).
